At Alltex Roofing Systems, we don't take shortcuts. We look for manufacturers of roofing, siding, insulation, and other building materials who provide their own warrantees. We then back them with our own guarantee of good workmanship. Before starting a job our representative will provide you with samples of different styles and colors, then gain your approval and spell out your choices on the written agreement.

Residential Roofing Materials

The most commonly used residential roofing material is a 20-year or 30-year warranteed composition shingle. This shingle is asphalt and fiberglass-based with colored granules embedded. Major manufacturers include GAF, Elk, Owens Corning, Tamko and Atlas. Other roofing types include:

A Note About Materials and Insurance
Many homeowners are taking advantage of incentives to replace their roofs with Class IV fire rated materials. Most insurers offer up to a 30 per cent discount for certain materials, such as metal and tile. Hail impact resistant shingles also qualify. Ask an Alltex representative, or your insurance carrier for a list of these materials.
